Duration & Appointment Timing
Allow around 120 minutes for long hair. This covers consultation, cleanse, application and heat sealing for durable, high-shine results.
A blow-dry finish is required to seal and perfect the treatment. When booking online, please add the Long Hair Blow-dry as your finishing service. If your hair is exceptionally long or dense, a little extra time may be recommended.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Use sulphate-free, keratin-safe shampoo and conditioner, and always apply heat protection. Blow-dry smooth after washing to reactivate the finish and keep frizz at bay. Rinse after swimming and minimise exposure to salt and chlorine where possible.
Your stylist will advise whether you should keep hair dry for up to 48 hours or if same-day washing is suitable, depending on the system used. Sleep on a silk pillowcase, avoid tight hair bands initially, and book your next smoothing service at around 12 weeks, or when more texture returns.
