Duration & Appointment Timing
Allow around 45 minutes for a short hair perm, including consultation and finish. Very dense hair or a highly defined curl may need a little longer.
If you are adding a cut, please book extra time. If your hair is previously coloured or delicate, your stylist may suggest a strand test before proceeding. Arrive with clean, product-light hair and bring inspiration photos.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Do not wash for 48 hours after your perm. Avoid tight clips or bands, and let the new curl settle.
At home, use sulphate-free shampoo, a hydrating conditioner and a weekly mask. Blot dry, detangle with a wide-tooth comb, then apply a light curl cream or mousse. Air-dry or diffuse on low heat with a heat protector.
Book trims every 6 to 8 weeks to keep the shape fresh. Most clients refresh their perm around 8 to 12 weeks, depending on hair type and finish. If you plan colour, keep it at least a week away from your perm to protect condition.
